Prerequisites
- Requires REAPER v6.09 or later recommended.
- Requires the latest version of the SWS-Extension.
- Requires ReaPack. If you don’t already have ReaPack, head on over to reapack.com and install it. Follow these steps to install ReaPack:
- 1. From REAPER: Options > Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder
- 2. Put the downloaded file in the UserPlugins subdirectory
- 3. Restart REAPER. Done!
- The js_ReaScriptAPI extension is required to run Nabla Looper, which enables keyboard capture to make special shortcut system in Manual Mode.

Be sure to restart Reaper after installing any extensions.
Installation via ReaPack
Once you have ReaPack installed:
- Open the menu:
Extensions | ReaPack | Import a Repository
- Paste in this URL:
https://github.com/NablaTools/ReaScripts/raw/master/index.xml
- Open the menu:
Extensions | ReaPack | Browse package
- Search for nabla and select the files that matches your REAPER’s architecture (32 or 64 bit). (Scythe for nabla is mandatory to install)
- Right clicking and go for
Install/update
then click the Apply button.
Updating
- Close any projects that have used Nabla Looper.
- Access:
Extensions | ReaPack | Synchronize packages
via Reaper’s menu to ensure Nabla Looper is updated to the latest version.
If Nabla Looper does update, you should restart Reaper to ensure the latest version of all Nabla Looper scripts are running.
Uninstalling
Follow these steps to uninstall the Nabla Tools:
- Close current project (if one is open)
- Menu:
Extensions | ReaPack | Manage Repositories
- Right click Nabla Tools and click Uninstall
- Click ok and say yes to the prompt
- Restart Reaper.
